‘Delightful, welcoming accommodation in stunning location, the only sounds being birdsong, the chirping of the crickets and of course some of the time our lovely singing! Delicious picnic lunches and dinners washed down with plenty of red wine. Yoga was a great way to start the day, really relaxing and a good preparation for singing.
Continue ReadingAs with our June singing holiday “Sing Amongst Flowers”, “A Sacred Summer” will be a very rewarding and enjoyable week, culminating in a final evening concert in the lovely San Eutizio Benedictine Abbey. These late summer days of September will however be quite different in feel and subtly different in content.
Just as our June holiday takes advantage of the time of year and the glorious displays of flora, “A Sacred Summer” will also major on the joys of September. This is is a truely wonderful time of year in this mountainous region of Italy; the Italians, having all flocked to the cool breezes of the mountains for August have now made their way back to their offices and city lives, leaving behind a calm, sacred month of continuing warmth and sunlight for us to enjoy.
