On our week long holidays we include everything in the price except the flights and the drinks outside mealtimes. On our weekend holidays we include everything except travel, flights & drinks outside mealtimes. As a consequence of not including your flight, we have been able to keep the total price of a Singing Holiday week competitive. It also means added flexibility, allowing you to travel from your local airport to Italy.

From the moment you exit arrivals to the sad ‘goodbyes’ at the departures lounge, we will be there to take care of you and all expenses.

You can pay for your holiday by using Direct Debit, PayPal, a Credit/Debit card or BACS. We may even accept some kind of barter depending on what you’re offering!

In order to keep our prices down and to give you maximum flexibility with your travel arrangements we decided not to include flights.

Any company who wishes to sell flights as part of their holiday needs to be a registered member of CAA and hold a qualifying ATOL licence. This is an expensive requirement and its cost would need to be reflected in the final price you pay for your week.

ATOL is a financial protection scheme managed by the Civil Aviation Authority (“CAA”).

All travel companies selling air holiday packages and flights in the UK are required by law to hold a licence called an Air Travel Organiser’s Licence (“ATOL”), which is granted after the company has met the CAA’s licensing requirements.

Each ATOL holder is issued with a unique ATOL number, which can be checked on the ATOL website, and must contribute to a protection fund called the Air Travel Trust (ATT).

In the event of an ATOL holder’s failure, the ATOL Scheme ensures customers who paid and contracted with the ATOL holder for an air holiday package or a flight, do not lose the money paid over or are not stranded abroad.

The ATOL Scheme does not cover bookings and payments made to airlines, or to airline agents where airline tickets or a similar airline booking confirmation has been issued.

Yes, definitely!

It’s really annoying this one but we have to add a single supplement charge to the cost of a holiday. Unfortunately, the hotels (agriturismi) charge more for a single (relatively) than they do for a double. Unfortunately again, it’s normal practice and nearly every holiday company has to do the same. The only other option is to raise the basic cost of the week for everyone but then we’d have the opposite issue. Can’t win!

The good news is you will normally be given a double room so you’ll have lots of space to spread out!

No you don’t.

Although Singing Holidays has extensive liability insurance with Lloyds of London, the price of your holiday does not contain your personal cover. It is your responsibility to ensure that you take out a comprehensive travel insurance policy to cover you during your travel. Please see our terms and conditions for more details.

Paying for a Singing Holiday is simplicity itself! PayPal handles all our transactions both through a PayPal account or via Credit/Debit Card. If you opt to pay with your PayPal account you must make sure that account is properly setup and linked to a credit card and bank account. If you’ve not linked your account fully then PayPal will restrict you account activity to a £1000 spend per month. There are a few reasons why your payment may fail when using your credit or debit card through PayPal or any other payment gateway. The number one reason for failure is because you have exceeded your yearly maximum ‘guest’ spend. An EU directive prevents PayPal from accepting in excess of £1900 for ‘guest’ accounts. Basically if you don’t have a PayPal account or if you have a PayPal account that is not linked correctly to your credit card and bank account then you are considered a ‘guest’ user.

The way to release this restriction is to sign up for a PayPal account. It’s actually far more secure having an account as you’ll no longer need to give out your credit card details every time you spend money online. Most online stores and service providers accept PayPal. You will also have some payment protection provided to you by PayPal free of charge.
