After a musical start at Junior Guildhall, Pippa Collins gained a 1 st class degree in Music at Manchester University. She went in as a violinist, but came out as a singing pianist! She has since had a colourful career.

She was a regular in bars and clubs around London and travelled the world performing on cruise ships in Europe and the Caribbean. She also spent a winter season in Lapland as the lead vocalist in the world’s largest log cabin restaurant.

Since then, she has arranged, recorded and performed string arrangements and backing vocals for many artists. Her TV work includes ‘The Ruth Jones Show’, working with Tim Minchen, Dawn French and Michael Sheen and most recently, she appeared as a vocal consultant on BBC4’s ‘What a Performance’ with Suzy Klein and Frank Skinner. She also sang the National Anthem live on Sky 1 at Brands Hatch for the Grand Prix, with ten million viewers.

She is one-third of the UK’s favourite vintage girl group, The Rockabellas and also leads four hugely successful Rock Choirs, with over 600 members regularly attending her weekly rehearsals. She is regularly booked by companies for corporate team building events and has had extraordinary results in turning a room of any number, be it 10 or 1500, into a brilliant choir, in a very short space of time. Her true passion is in harmonies and whether working with amateurs or professionals, her skills ensure a fantastic result.

She is also an accomplished composer and songwriter. Every year, with her songwriting team, Sarah Lindsey and Tom Gearing, she composes and records the Sign2Sing song, for the charity, SignHealth, with approximately 200,000 adults and children from around the UK, learning the words along with the accompanying sign language.

Another of Pippa’s greatest skills is producing large charity concerts and events. Her recent fundraising concerts include 3 nights at St Albans Abbey, raising £30,000 for Rennie Grove Hospice, 3 nights at the Wycombe Swan Theatre, raising 11,000 for Sign Health, 2 nights at the Gordon Craig Theatre raising over £2000 for the Prince’s Trust, and many more events, including £5000 raised for NSPCC, £1500 raised for The Hospice of St Francis, £1200 for Keech Hospice, £1000 for SANDS, £1500 for Brain Tumour Charity and much more.

Whether it’s as a vocal coach, singer, arranger, conductor or concert producer, Pippa will not disappoint!
